Berlinweite „jugendmäßige“ Kampagne zum Umgang mit den Hygieneregeln im Winter – Kurs 2020/21
On behalf of the Health City Council of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, the aim is to develop a Berlin-wide campaign - as planned and already envisaged with the Senator for Health - that primarily addresses those age groups that are currently the most frequently infected, i.e. teenagers, young adults and those who count themselves as "youth".
The possibilities in developing the draft is to pay closer attention to this age group than in the currently existing campaigns, to how non-discriminatory and barrier-free it should be in order to reach the meant groups of people in the first place.
Can there be equal for unequal? Kida Ramadan, for example, said in an interview in March! that people should be more afraid of racism than of the corona virus. Are current campaigns too white?
What source of inspiration does a self-critical approach to one's own behavior offer? Is it at all about the presumed attitude according to the motto: I won't let anyone take away my freedom, no matter if it comes at the expense of the health and life of others?
Where is the meaning of what Hannah Arendt wrote? Democracies prove themselves by how they treat their weakest - i.e. how critical of the system and society can or even must such a campaign be?
And then there's always the matter of fear, loss of control, and the ridicule of being a wimp when you wear a mask.
